FAQ

Why don't you post often?
I am now in college and have a job.  I'm really, really busy.  It's awfully sad.  I'll try to do better.  Please accept this drawing of Gertrude the Unicorn as my formal apology.

Will you review my book?
I read.  I read a lot.  This is true.  I've never done book reviews before, but a few people have approached me with questions about it.  I would not be opposed to this idea, but like I said I'm busy and I don't know when your review would be posted.  We could talk about it.  If I do start reviewing, I'll do it for free.  You'd just need to send me a copy of the book somehow.  SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL.

Will you draw a picture for me?
I'm sorry, so sorry, but no.  I can't.  I don't have the time.  Also, remember that I actually suck at drawing. SORRY.

Why don't you illustrate every post?
I don't illustrate every post because, frankly, that would be exhausting.  And I'm really not that great at drawing.  In case you haven't noticed.  It's more of a "when the mood strikes" type thing.

Are you really LDS?  Are you Mormon?  Are you Christian?  Are you in a cult?
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, AKA I'm Mormon.  My church is indeed a Christian church.  We teach of Jesus Christ and his gospel.  It's not a cult, no.

How old are you?
I am 19 years old.  Please do not use this information to somehow ruin my life.  KTHX.

What are your political views?
Circle 3 elevator elbow.

How do you do your drawings?
I use MS Paint to do my drawings.  I also just use a regular mouse.  After a while, you get kind of good at drawing with a mouse.  I actually can't draw on paper in real life at all; I've never in my life been artistic.  I have no idea why my tiny amount of talent lies with Paint.  It's baffling.  Anyway, this is the process: I start out with the rough outline of what I want to draw, and then I go through the whole outline and erase lines and redraw lines and add details until the drawing is complete.  Sometimes I redraw a single line 25ish times, especially on more challenging drawings like bears.  It's really not as hard as people think it is.  I also just use MS Paint to make my backgrounds.

Will you design a background/layout/THING for my blog?
I'm sorry, but I can't do that for a few reasons.  1. I just don't have time between writing, drawing, and school.  2. I tweak my backgrounds quite a bit and it takes me many adjustments to get it right.  This would be a really hard process if I had to send someone a finished layout, see it posted, and then go adjust it slightly like a gajillion times.  I could just make a blog for testing layouts, but I really don't want to.  3. It's too much pressure.  If I spend a lot of time designing something, you'll probably expect it to be good and I just can't promise to deliver all the time.  Sorry.  4. I've got to eat and if I spend time drawing a layout for you, I'm using hours that could be spent paying for my McDonald's addiction.  That's the cold, hard truth.

How is your dumb name pronounced?
My dumb name is pronounced like this: Meh-gan Preet-zell.

What the swear word is Spark Life?
Spark Life is the funny, helpful section of Sparknotes.com that deals with the general lives of teenagers and college students.  They pay me to write for them because they clearly have a skewed vision of me.

You have a boyfriend.  Will you please tell me all about him in vivid detail?
I have never really posted about boyfriends before.  I've had several while I've been writing on ye olde blog, but if they're ever mentioned I generally don't advertise the fact that we're dating.  I do this to protect his identity and privacy.  I get some...uh...interesting emails sometimes, and I don't really want to expose him to that just yet.  Also, what if we break up horribly or he only liked me for my (nonexistent) money or he turns out to have been an imaginary yet surprisingly realistic manifestation of my inner desperation?  That would be embarrassing to have to explain.  When I get all settled into my life and super serious about any one guy (hint: think engaged) I'll clue you in and share all the details.

I'm pretty much out of questions at this point.  When people ask me more stuff about stuff, I'll post it here.
