THANK YOU.
I've noticed that a lot of teenagers have the same "I can't talk to any adult or person in charge, be it a customer service person or waiter" syndrome.
I thought it was just me, but then I found out all my friends ask their moms to do things for them like "no, you ask." (which i do all the time)
so you're not alone. also, i hope you didnt get arrestedHaylie Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03274902686844476188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207286068654982286.post-22172891489743986942011-05-14T18:01:27.749-07:002011-05-14T18:01:27.749-07:00YAY!!! I even had my daddy with me to walk me to security and I still panicked and thought almost everything you did. I still don't think I did anything right but they didn't pull me over or think I was a terrorist or anything crazy like that but OMG AIRPORTS ARE SO FREAKING SCARY.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207286068654982286.post-60478849029664331722011-05-14T11:05:17.372-07:002011-05-14T11:05:17.372-07:00The worst experience I had with TSA when I was com...The worst experience I had with TSA when I was coming back from a Girl Scout trip to Costa Rica (alone). I had bought a hammock there as a present for my parents, and it wouldn't fit in my luggage so I had to carry it as part of my carry-on. I got through security in San Jose just fine and flew to Newark. But while connecting from Newark to Boston, I had to go through security and they CONFISCATED it. Because it was apparently a "blunt object" that I, a 15-year old freakin' Girl Scout, would clearly use to bludgeon other passengers repeatedly. I think I cried.
The nice flight attendant asked what was wrong, and so I told her. She told the desk people, who went out and took it back from TSA and sent it to Boston for me. Worst airport experience ever (sorry for the long rant. I felt it was slightly relevant. Sort of)flyergirl13https://www.blogger.com/profile/09965681214383902027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207286068654982286.post-42952265378302227042011-05-14T06:38:11.809-07:002011-05-14T06:38:11.809-07:00First time I ever flew by myself was from good ol&...First time I ever flew by myself was from good ol' Texas back to Georgia, where I live currently. I was 14 at the time, and so I got the whole program where they basically hold your hand through the whole experience. Lucky for me, because the plane I happened to get on, right after we began to taxi out, failed. The brakes stopped working or something, and we had to disembark out on the runway, get into a bus and ride back to the terminal, and then walk for what felt like miles to a different terminal and get on that plane. So yeah. First experience by myself, ever, and that happens.Jakenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207286068654982286.post-14181070913446527822011-05-14T02:28:29.886-07:002011-05-14T02:28:29.886-07:00*makes a mental note*
